Imperial Sturmgewehr Eins

Originally created for the "Punk-Genre" Contest on Flickr for the Dieselpunk catagory. DP is being defined as steampunk during WWI/WWII so I think this fits.

Neopup style means the grip is on the side, bullpup means the bolt assembly is behind the trigger.

Uses a 30 round helical mag in the bottom, used shells are sent down a short tube before being ejected slightly rear of the bolt. The plate over the ejection port is to protect the user's arm from the shells. It's padded with rubber on the inside.

Charging handle is on the left side but can be seen on the bottom.

Gas system, selective fire, fires 7.62mm ammunition
