BE M46 Assault Rifle by Lord-Malachi BE M46 Assault Rifle by Lord-Malachi
With the dawn of a new era in warfare, Britannia has decided to introduce a new weapon to it's infantry arsenal.

The M46 is an improvement of the outdated and flimsy McBreck Rifle of the last decade.
Firing a slightly larger 7.5x45mm round the M46 hits harder than the McBreck. It also comes standard with the option of semi-Auto or Fully-Auto fire.

The larger receiver prevents cracks around the chamber that occurred with the McBreck, And the new rubber buttpad lowers felt recoil from the larger round.

Also moving the rear sight to behind the EP allows for a longer sight distance, which in turn provides added accuracy.
When fitted with a scope, the M46 will also function as overwatch support just as the scoped McBreck did in the past.
And the lighter trigger provides a lighter trigger pull, aiding to ease of use and also to accuracy at long range.

rEAL LIFE MILITARY RIFLES TREND TO THE SMALLEST CALIBER AND MUZZLE ENERGY THEY THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH! (Sorry about the caps lock!) There are several reasons for it, but weight and recoil are the two big ones. Guns like the MKR 4.5 MM Rim Fire asault rifle were trialed, I fired it and recomended we buy it, but nobody listened. Any of the current, or trialed micro caliber rounds was several times more powerful than needed for army wide issue and real life combat. More people in America are killed with the truely amemic .22 Long Rifle than any - all other rounds. Studdies by every major army and Nation with pretentions of military power have tested how much energy it takes to make a casualty, or lethal wound. Those tests gave 68-80 Joules of impact energy. Certainly much more than any of those weapons including the MKR and it's punny rim fire ammo out to ranges that exceed 99.99% of soldiers ability to hit, or even see anything. More importantly even the smallest fragment hit is very painful.
