BE Epitome Main Battle Tank by Lord-Malachi BE Epitome Main Battle Tank by Lord-Malachi
Featuring a large, 115mm, rifled main cannon, the Epitome was designed to hit hard.
And with 300mm armor it\'s meant to take a beating.

All that firepower and armor however limit it to about 27mph off road, and about 35mph on road. Another slightly speed limiting factor is that the drive sprocket isn\'t perfectly in the rear (Directly beneath the rear access hatch) so as to better protect it from incoming fire. But it\'s horizontal location lowers the number of teeth in contact, which will lead to slippage in the case of difficult climbs.

Smokescreen grenade launchers are mounted on either side of the turret.

Also, at a loss of anti infantry defense, the tank\'s profile is slimmed by not including an MG mount. This makes it harder to pick out at range because it blends in flatter to the terrain.
To solve this, smaller, light tanks are in production to move in tandem with the Epitome.

It would be funny how unmatched either of us would be if we went to war i do more Heavy armor great weaponry good speed, light armor heavy guns high speed, imobile heavy guns no armor you make these like mid. speed good weaponry and armor but my advantage would be is that i have about half a thousand models of super tanks, lights, TD's,med. tanks most of them are ww2 themed but i do not have pictures of tanks on my gallery or anything i still have many crazy things i make! Not to be unfair but idk what your advantage would be maybe less tank models and much more balanced tanks that are built. So yeah anyways very nice tank models keep up the good work!

Looks good but gotta agree that 700 mm of armor is too much, like titan said.

700mm... that is over 2 feet of armor plating... plausible for an air craft carrier, not a tank. stick with 70mm, that way the tank can move.

Typos, lol.

Still, very cool design.

Actually it's more like 1 foot, but that does seem large...

Though according to this it's also accurate for a tank...
I'm confused... o.0

1 inch = 25.6mm, 700mm is close to two feet.

Any way, the armor used for the Abrams is not 700mm thick. It's about half that thickness actually. However, the Abrams has sloped armor so the foot of armor gives the same amount of protection that two feet of armor gives. My point is, wikipedia is giving you both the right and wrong answer. The armor is more like 350mm thick with the equivelant protection of 700mm.

I have no clue where 70mm came from, that was just wrong. Sorry. God I feel stupid for that previous comment now.

Oh I see... well I'll drop it to 350mm then?

And idk, I just typed it into google and google said it was something like 26 inches or so. *shrug* I trust you though.

"Did you know that the Commander got a shipment of new tanks for the front line?"
"Were in the new tanks..."
"Really? They don't look new to me-"
"For Christ sakes, they have a gps, an Ipod jack, better engines, surround sound audio from Dr. Dre, and a bigger cannon."
"...so that's why were shooting things louder."
"I will load you into the cannon the next time we see another armor!"
